Barbecued Pork Strips
Main Dish
This is a versatile dish. The pork strips can be nearly any cut of pork, chops, loin, roast, cutlet, or even pork steaks. This cooks in about 8 hours in the slow cooker and takes about 20 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients/Shopping List
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks (do not drain)
- 3 lbs lean pork, cut into strips,browned,and drained
- ¼ cup dry sherry
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions
Mix all ingredients except pork. Stir well (in slow cooker) then add pork and stir until coated.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve strips with a light drizzle of sauce.
