Beef Stroganoff (Slow Cooker)
Main Dish
This is a very easy recipe. You can use stew beef or hamburger with good results. This takes less than 10 Minutes to prepare and cooks in about 8 hours. It yields about 4 servings.
Ingredients/Shopping List
- 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup water
- 4 ounces cream cheese
Directions
Combine meat, soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce and water in a slow cooker.
Note: Golden Cream of Mushroom Soup works much better than regular Cream of Mushroom.
Cook on Low setting for eight hours, or on High for about five. Stir in cream cheese just before serving.
This can be served over wide egg noodles or dumplings quite successfully.
