Allow cream cheese to soften for about 30 minutes.
Mix crab, cream cheese, and green onions. This takes a lot of stirring if you use a spoon, I suggest a blender or food processor. The result should be smooth but not liquid.
Spoon a generous tablespoon into each pita half, serve while cool.
Prepare this dish last minute. It doesn't refrigerate well, nor does it last long once ready.
The variations are endless. Add a dash of soy sauce. Add some garlic. Experiment!
