Happy Family (Chinese)

This is really just another stir-fry of chicken and veggies. The menu of every Chinese restaurant I've ever been to included "happy family" in some form or another. About 4 servings in just over 30 minutes makes this quick and easy. This can be done in a wok or on an indoor grill.


Per serving:
Protein: 5.9g Fat: 10.5g Carbohydrate: 0.3g

Directions

Cook chicken strips and then cube them. About 7-10 minutes on an indoor grill, about 10 minutes under the broiler.

Heat oil (very hot) in wok or in skillet. Add Onion (rings) and cook over medium heat. Add peppers, baby corn, stir-fry vegetables. Raise heat to high and cook, stirring frequently, for 15 minutes.

Add sugar, salt, then chicken.

Dissolve cornstarch in water and add soy sauce. Stir together thoroughly, add to wok. When sauce thickens, happy family is done.
