Hot Garlic Shrimp
Appetizer
These Spanish-style shrimp should be served sizzling hot from the oven. Spear them with toothpicks to spear them.
Ingredients/Shopping List
- 1 1/2 pounds medium raw shrimp, shelled. Leave the tails on.
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 6 whole garlic cloves, mashed
- salt to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions
Put the shrimp in an ovenproof bowl and pour the olive oil over it. Drop the garlic cloves into the oil and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least three hours. Bring to room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Roast the shrimp until pink, about six minutes. Remove the shrimp from the oven, sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
