Microwave Fudge

Dessert

This is a very rich fudge dessert accomplished entirely in the microwave. Prep time is quick and the cooking time is too. Adapted from Patty Stockton. You should get about 30 servings any way you slice it.

Directions

Grease an 8x8 inch square baking pan.

Combine brown sugar, butter, cocoa powder, and milk. Microwave on high until mixture boils. Stir in confectioner's sugar and vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan.

Microwave caramels and water on medium setting until caramels melt. Stir in peanuts. Spread mixture over chocolate layer.

Combine semisweet and milk chocolate chips. Microwave on medium until melted. Spread over caramel layer. Chill for 2 hours. Serve in small pieces… very rich.
